Tulsa, OK Drivers Education Classes
Located across the street from Jenks High School, Green Light Driver Training offers Oklahoma drivers education classes for high school students or adult students seeking to obtain their Oklahoma Drivers License or Oklahoma Learners Permit.
Driver Education – $395
This 16 ½-hour program is designed for new teen drivers, and replaces the State of Oklahoma written test requirement to qualify for a learner’s permit. Students can begin driver education at age 15 and may obtain their learner’s permit as soon as they are 15 ½. The Green Light program includes a ten-hour class focused on safe driving theory using the Oklahoma Driver’s Manual and AAA’s How to Drive curriculum. After the classroom work is complete, students receive six hours of individual behind-the-wheel instruction in our eco-friendly CNG Honda Civic, and a 30-minute road test readiness assessment. Behind-the-wheel instruction will be scheduled at your convenience. If you live in or near Jenks, south Tulsa, Bixby, Glenpool, or Sapulpa (within 20 minutes of the Green Light office), the instructor meets and returns the student at your home for behind-the-wheel instruction.
Individualized Program – $50/hour
If the Driver Education program does not fit your needs, Green Light will work with you to develop a program that will get you on the road at your own pace.
